Pictures, Pop Bottles and Pills: Kodak Electronics Technology That Made a Better World But Didn’t Save the Day describes Kodak electronics and equipment technology from 1960 to the present. It draws some conclusions about why Kodak was not successful in making the digital transformation it fueled. At the same time, it is a celebration of the best Kodak moments in electronic and digital technology.
Brad Paxton ’60 served as general manager and vice president of both the Electronic Photography and the Printer Products divisions at Kodak, and retired as director of the Electronic Imaging Research Laboratories. He is CEO of Advanced Document Imaging.
